I got the Fried Fish & Chicken Combo along with Fried Eggplant & Fried Okra, and it's really flavorful. Yummy seasoning, perfectly fried, and a shareable portion.

We found this location online the next day after the March on Washington in DC while it rained. DoorDash app works perfectly in the NE of the capital (not Postmates). We ordered catfish, fries, coleslaw and macaroni. The highlights are catfish, mac and slaw. Why? The catfish was properly drained and meaty. The mac was cheesy and thick. Overall the meal had the lyrical content, tonenality and instrumentation which every Jay-Z album possesses. Wonder why it's called HHFC because it was all synchronized like a well-oiled orchestra. Can't wait to visit and order delivery soon again from this location. Succulent and savory are the best words to describe this place.

My auntie came to town for her birthday weekend and wanted some good fish. I remembered this place from my time working in Baltimore and knew there was a location on Benning Road in DC. The atmosphere was friendly, although there were some questionable folks there, but they were cool. The staff are fast and courteous and the prices are great. We got catfish filet, chicken wings and drums, and hush puppies, which tasted undone and banana pudding. Let's just say we destroyed that food like it was our last supper! Everything was well seasoned, fresh, and simply delicious (except for the hush puppies). I really enjoyed stopping in to make my aunties birthday special. I took off one star for the doughy hush puppies...otherwise I'd recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys good food!

Love the trout and whiting dinners, fries and coleslaw are delicious. My neice loves the nuggets and fries also the steak and cheese is absolutely delicious. The lemon cake and yellow cake with chocolate icing are yummy. The food is always pipping hot, even with a 3 mile drive. It offers super food which never disappoints at a great price. The staff is great. I will continue to patronize them on a regular basis.

I'm not a big catfish fan, so I tried the perch (so good!), whiting (ok, not much flavor) and chicken tenders (good value). Delivery came with hot sauce, tartar sauce and bbq. I was surprised at no ketchup because they give you a ton of fries. Tbh the fries are seasoned very tasty, and good even without ketchup. A.

My favorite are the catfish nuggets. I had leftover for days. The wings were a bit tiny but everything else was really good and portions more than enough
